In 2013, I went through the Grief Recovery Method® due the sudden death of my son, while I was visiting my mother out of the country who was diagnosed with a terminal illness. I felt helpless with the amount of painful emotions, with so many things I'd wanted to tell him, so many dreams that were cut short, and other things which I wish had been different. This method worked beautifully, letting me grieve properly in a natural way and at the same time letting me be free of those undelivered communications, dreams, and expectations. It was so effective for me that I decided to be trained by the Grief Recovery Institute®. I have already helped many people heal their hearts by sharing with them the right information and tools. I hold a B.S. in Speech and Language Pathology from the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia and a M.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston. I worked for many years as a Bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist in the private setting and in the Spring Branch Independent School District in Houston. I have advised and led various non-profit organizations since 2003.
I am fully bilingual in Spanish and English and can guide you and your loved ones in either language.
I live with my husband Jose and my dog Snoopy. We have three children, a son-in-law and two grandsons.
